Every Thursday, the OPD office in the Riau Provincial Government Becomes an offline market
PEKANBARU - To help Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) actors affected by Covid-19. Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) offices in the Riau provincial government (Pemprov), turn them into offline markets every Thursday.
Head of the Riau Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (DPPK UKM), Asrizal said, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many MSME players were unable to sell. As a result, their income has also decreased.
"In the OPD office within the Riau Provincial Government, the MSME players can sell food, beverage, handicraft and other products with the hope that civil servants can help by buying products sold by the UMKM actors, " said Asrizal, Thursday (8/10/2020 ).
Asrizal explained, a total of 32 OPDs within the Riau Provincial Government whose offices are used as offline markets for MSME players every Thursday. This activity will be tested for the next month.
"If later the buying and selling transactions are high enough and many MSME players are helped, his party will create more offline markets, " he said.
According to Asrizal, it is possible that the offline market in the government office will also be created in vertical agency offices in Riau.
"It is possible that this offline market activity will be developed to vertical agencies in Riau, " he said. (***)
